January 2012 TV schedule of premieres and returning shows

The midseason 2012 TV season begins this January with a slew of premieres and the first new episodes of returning shows for the new year.

Launching new seasons are "Jersey Shore, "Shameless," "The Bachelor," "American Idol," "The Biggest Loser," "One Tree Hill," "30 Rock," "Justified" and "Spartacus," among others.

New shows include "Work It," "The Firm," "House of Lies," "The Finder," "Alcatraz," "Luck," "Napoleon Dynamite" and "Unsupervised." The People's Choice Awards, Golden Globes and SAG Awards are also set to air.
