On November 30, Albuquerque’s The Jamspot hosts Gnarly Slur, Diverje, Andrako, and Nexus Elementa. Doors for the all-ages show open at 7 p.m. Entry is only $7.

Albuquerque’s Gnarly Slur play experiMENTAL music that combines hard rock, heavy metal, and industrial. The band’s debut CD, Animal Dance, was rooted more in industrial but touched on facets of rock and metal. Their second CD, Rough Offense, has a more metallic base driven by heavier riffs and dropped tuning, as well as fewer keyboards.

Albuquerque’s Diverje play harsh electronic body music. The band’s emphasis is on balancing the heavy and the melodic. Their latest full-length studio CD is Evil Never Dies.

Hailing from the atomic badlands of New Mexico Andrako play hardcore techno industrial metal. The band features Michael Lee Ostrander on guitar.

Albuquerque’s Nexus Elementa play electronic dance mixed with goth, metal, and world music.

Albuquerque’s The Jamspot is located at 239 San Pedro NE (on the corner of Copper and San Pedro).
