Janosik, Gassera and Williams roll perfect games at regional centers

Two of the three perfect games reported in the area during the past week were rolled during Wednesday's session of the Al Davis Memorial League at Bowland Port Charlotte.
 
Mike Janosik fired a perfect game to open a 706 series, while Daniel Gassera rolled his perfecto in the middle of a 737 set. The other 300 game was posted by David Williams in the second game of a 786 series in the Friday Night Mixed League at Englewood Bowl.
 
In other notable area scoring accomplishments:
 
* Mike Aleshire finished with games of 280 and 299 en route to a 799 series that raised his average to 240 in the Broad Street Bar & Grill League at Treasure Lanes in Port Charlotte ... and Dominic Orlando had a 290 game to cap a 690 series in the same league.
 
* Mike Snade fired a 290 game to complete a 708 series in the Monday Night Mixed League at Englewood Bowl.
 
* Mike Connery blasted a 213-over-average 726 series highlighted by a 269 game in the Spectrum Dental Lab League at Sarasota Lanes ... and Javier Macias Jr. had a 103-over-average 287 game in the Cook Spring Invitational League at the same center.

* Eddie Schneider rolled a 180-over-average 759 series that included a 289 game in the Environmental A/C League ... Chris Scott had a 158-over 515 series in the Sarasota County Schools League ... and Jane Johnson had a 153-over 459 series in the Sarasota Yacht Club League, all at AMF Gulf Gate.
 
* Mel Storm connected for a 166-over-average 700 series in the Senior Classic League at AMF Venice ... and Dan Lorenc had a 146-over 716 set in the New Coffee Club League at the same house.
 
* Kayla Starzewski posted a 141-over-average 555 series in the Friday Night Mixed League at Englewood Bowl.
