Janney Chiquis Marin, who is Jenni Rivera’s oldest daughter, denies she had an affair with her stepfather. E! Online reports on Oct. 17 that Marin will also play her mother in an upcoming movie. The 28-year-old vehemently denies the affair rumors and claims it was a misunderstanding.
Rivera died in a plane crash in 2012, and she had become estranged from her oldest daughter months before the tragedy. Marin denies the rumors that she had an affair with Esteban Loaiza, her stepfather, but she admits the allegations caused the rift with her mother. The 28-year-old explains she was thrown out of the house because of the rumors.
Marin shares she never got the chance to explain her side of the story to her mother. Rivera filed for divorce from Loaiza, her third husband, before the plane crash took her life. Marin also believes that too many people interfered in the relationship with her mother.
The 28-year-old states she plans to honor the memory of her mother by portraying her in an upcoming movie. The strong resemblance to Rivera will not be enough for the role, so her daughter is taking lessons. The biopic is already creating tension in the Rivera family. Her sister Rosie explains the estate did not give authorization for the film, but it is still being made. Instead, Rosie reveals the family is working on its own movie and has hired a scriptwriter.
