Janice Dickinson has been accused of pulling a Lindsay Lohan style jewelry theft. The reality star has been accused of stealing around $20,000 in jewelry, but Dickinson claims it is all a big misunderstanding according to Radar Online reports on Wednesday, Feb. 13.
The problem started this past Saturday for the super model when she participated in a runway show benefit, The Reality of FASHION The Reality of AIDS, in New York City. Janice, 57, walked the catwalk looking stunning wearing on loan jewelry from Effy.
“I left in a hurry and didn’t even realize I had a couple of bangles and a couple of rings on still,” the America’s Next Top Model judge explained to RadarOnline.com.
“If I were to steal jewelry I would go to Harry Winston, I wouldn’t mess around with cheap jewelry, and it was really cheap!” the self-proclaimed world’s first supermodel told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview.
“It is way beneath me. I wear expensive, real jewelry. I don’t know what that s**t is but I am not going to steal it.”
This is a similar excuse made by Lindsay Lohan back two years-ago when as previously reported, Lindsay Lohan found herself in hot water after she was caught on video surveillance stealing a $2500 necklace. Lindsay Lohan is claiming that she did not steal the necklace but in fact has borrowed the piece, but the stores video states differently.
As for Janice Dickinson's future with the show organizers Janice stated, “I will never do anything with them again, it is not worth it. It is not a rosy path being publicly slammed.”
Excuse, or busted, do you think Janice Dickinson is guilty of jewelry theft?
