Janet Jackson talks Don Cornelius: 'He will be missed'

The superstar singer and actress, Janet Jackson, one of Michael Jackson's sisters, took to Twitter to share her thoughts about the passing of Don Cornelius. The news was announced this week, and Janet Jackson like many, have expressed their sadness over the news, but their appreciation for what Don Cornelius accomplished in his life.

Janet Jackson wrote of Don Cornelius: "Don Cornelius' work helped us better understand and celebrate one another, our diversity, and the richness of our music. He will be missed."

For many years, viewers tuned in to watch Soul Train, and to see Don Cornelius interview many of the greatest performers on the show. Stars performed on the show for those in attendance, and fans watched to see what the artists would perform, and what they would discuss in their interviews?
