Janet Jackson Harper's Bazaar interview revealed: Singer on Michael Jackson & more (See pictures)

Janet Jackson has broken her silence since the passing of her iconic big brother, Michael Jackson. The singer tells the magazine that she hasen't 'watched the news in weeks' following MJ's passing.

According to the new interview Janet reveals the last time that she saw MJ and how she is coping.

Janet Jackson on the last time she saw MJ: 'The last time Janet saw Michael was on May 14, two days before her 43rd birthday. It was a family celebration, the Jackson kids were running around, and she and her big brother hung out, ate Thai food, and tormented each other. "We had so much fun that day," she says, her soft voice almost inaudible. "We kept calling each other after and saying how great it was."'

Janet Jackson on how she is coping: "I've been doing okay," she says. "Work helps focus all of that energy on something that is of value to you." She's just back from vacation, a princely three days on a beach. "It was the first time I had to myself since Michael passed, the first time I could get away since all of that."

People have joined David's projects from over 150 countries. Every Michael Jackson fan will be able to get a free hand-drawn dot added to the portrait in their name. Thus far people representing over 100 countries have signed up to take part in this project. The Michael Jackson Tribute Portrait is a partner of The Michael Jackson Fan Club (http://www.MJfanclub.net), the largest Michael Jackson fan club in the world, which was supported by Jackson himself.

You can now sign up at SupportJacksonPortrait.com for your dot. The portrait starts on August 28th. A dedicated website will be created so people can sign up for their free dot. People will be able to attach a message to their dot if they choose. Every time someone signs up, a dot will be hand drawn in the work of art in their name. People will be able to go online to see the portrait as it evolves toward completion and read some of the messages.
