There’s been some serious tension in the Jackson household this month.
Amongst the cloud of accusations regarding Michael Jackson’s counterfeit will, Katherine Jackson’s alleged disappearance, Paris Jackson’s unsupervised Twitter cries, the family sets the record straight regarding domestic violence claims. Janet Jackson didn't slap her neice.
The rumor’s culprit?
TMZ, of course. Wednesday, the tabloid issued a somber statement: “Although we believed the story to be true when we published it, we have now determined it was not correct ... Janet did not slap or otherwise touch Paris, nor did she verbally abuse her.”
According to the LA Times, the rumor stems from a leaked security video, which shows Janet Jackson reaching for young Paris’ cell phone – not slapping her and calling her a “spoiled little bitch,” as the source claimed.
Moreover, LA Times reports that while the Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputy did respond to a physical family brawl, specific names were not released.
Recently, the family matriarch Katherine Jackson has lost sole custody of her grandchildren Prince, Paris and Blanket. They are currently under temporary custody of their 34-year-old cousin, T.J. Jackson.
