Speaking to Anderson Cooper on his new daytime talk show (named, what else, “Anderson”), Janet’s recalls her immediate reaction to hearing the news that Whitney Houston had died. And, celebrity or not, Janet’s reaction was similar to most of America—pure disbelief.
“I couldn’t believe it,” Janet told Anderson. “I was trying to text everyone that I knew to let them know. I was speechless. I could not believe it.”
