Janet Jackson marriage to Wissam Al Mana was the talk of the town over the past couple of weeks. Rumors were swirling that the two were planning a big wedding with festivities that included an elaborate party. Apparently it’s too late for that as the couple was married last year. ET News confirmed with Janet Jackson on Monday that the couple exchanged vows months ago.
“We would appreciate that our privacy is respected and that we are allowed this time for celebration and joy,” read the statement from the couple about the special event.
The two gave each other wedding gifts by donating money to the other person’s favorite charity.
Looking to share their life together, it is safe to suggest that neither particularly needed anything of value larger than the value of their love.
The happy couple doesn't want any gifts from fans either. Happy to find each other’s love, it appears the two are planning to spend the rest of their lives together.
