The Emmys are celebrating 65 years with the broadcast tonight, and host, Neil Patrick Harris is a fan favorite. Over the last year there has been plenty of television drama, and the awards will be dealing with some of it front and center. Cory Monteith died a few months ago, and there is a scheduled tribute for him on the show. Jack Klugman, a television legend, is getting no recognition, and this has several people upset. According to an article posted by TMZ on September 22, Jane Lynch told reporters she would be angry too. She was referring to Klugman’s son who has gone public with his distaste for the tribute and diss of his father.
Cory Monteith was a fan-favorite on “Glee”, and co-starred with Jane Lynch. Monteith died of a drug overdose and several people believe that the tribute should not happen. While it is a tragedy, it happens every day in the world of Hollywood. Plenty of “Gleeks” will be tuning into the broadcast to see the tribute, and Twitter is buzzing about it already.
Everyone has an opinion when it comes to celebrities. While Jack Klugman’s son had a valid point in his mind, Cory Monteith’s mom also had a valid point in hers. The Emmy broadcast will air the tribute, and fans are hoping there will be a mention of Klugman at some point.
