Jane Lynch and Lara Embry's divorce was finalized, according to TMZ on Jan 8, after the couple reached a financial settlement that was civil, but not close to the $93,000 spousal support Embry was demanding.
The 53-year-old "Glee" star and her 45-year-old clinical psychologist partner met in 2009 at a fundraiser in San Francisco and have been married since May 31, 2010.
After three years of marriage, Lynch announced that she and Embry were divorcing, citing only "irreconcilable differences".
Lynch filed for divorce in July of 2013. Embry requested $93,000 per month in spousal support as part of the divorce settlement. That initial request was denied, and it's unclear exactly how much Embry will receive.
Lynch did not have a prenuptial agreement, but was able to keep the house she purchased, despite California's divorce division rules.
The two are reportedly still on good terms and spent time together over the holidays. Lynch has served as stepmother to Embry's 11-year-old daughter.
Said Lynch to Larry King in July 2013, "All's good. We have a little girl - she has a little girl who's very dear to me." Lynch also went on to say that despite the divorce "we have to remain adults".
Lynch will now have more time to focus on her career, and can next be seen hosting the 66th annual Directors Guild Awards on January 25 at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles.
