Utica Public Library offers monthly FREE Magic: the Gathering Tournaments.  The format for these tournaments is Modern.  With the Modern Format, players can build decks from an even larger pool of cards going all the way back to Eighth Edition, when the current card frame, or the "modern" card frame, on the face of a Magic: the Gathering card began.
