Jan 3 2013, What to watch: 'Person of Interest', 'Elementary', Kathy Griffin,etc

For Thursday, January 3rd 2013 LA TV Insider Examiner recommends:

The Big Bang Theory (CBS, 8 p.m.) – “The Egg Salad Equivalency” – Sheldon (Jim Parsons) gets accused of sexual harassment at the University and winds up getting Leonard (Johnny Galecki), Raj (Kunal Nayyar), and Wolowitz (Simon Helberg) in trouble.

Person of Interest (CBS, 9 p.m.) – “2πR” – Finch (Michael Emerson) goes undercover as a high school substitute teacher to protect a teen genius POI as Carter (Taraji P. Henson) undertakes a dangerous mission to stop the FBI from determining that an imprisoned Reese (Jim Caviezel) is the “Man In a Suit.”

Elementary (CBS, 10 p.m.) – “Dirty Laundry” – Sherlock (Jonny Lee Miller) and Joan (Lucy Liu) investigate the murder of the general manager of a high-end Manhattan hotel whose body is found inside an industrial laundry machine. Meanwhile, since Joan’s time with Sherlock is almost up, he offers her an apprenticeship.

Kathy Griffin: Kennedie Center On-Hers (Bravo, 10 p.m.) – In this new comedy special, award-winning Kathy Griffin will discuss her very uniquely inappropriate encounters with everyone from Miley Cyrus to the great Celine Dion while bringing you up to date on "The Real Couples Therapy Beyond Scared Housewives."

Sweet Genius (FOOD, 10 p.m.) – “Electric Genius” – Challenges include using a fruity cereal, a strawberry drink, and a yellow pepper.
