Seeing that he needs help, Zoe (Rachel Bilson) and Wade (Wilson Bethel) volunteer to help him out by playing BlueBell’s “Founding Couple.” Zoe is also trying a new tact when it comes to her relationship with Wade, which has her taking on many new projects. Lemon (Jaime King) and AnnaBeth (Kaitlyn Black) devise a plan to get Lavon to let them cater the First Feast, in order to get some publicity for their new business. Meanwhile, George (Scott Porter) gives advice to Brick (Tim Matheson) on how to handle his new relationship.

Raising Hope (FOX, 8 p.m.) – “Lord of the Ring” – Jimmy (Lucas Neff) signs up for a number of medical experiments in order to earn enough money to buy Sabrina (Shannon Woodward) an engagement ring, while Virginia’s (Martha Plimpton) secret of pawning her own engagement ring is risked being exposed to Burt (Garret Dillahunt) because it’s the one Jimmy has his eye on.

Happy Endings (ABC, 9 p.m.) – "The Ex Factor" – When Ryan (guest star Briga Heelan), Jane's (Eliza Coupe) ex, comes to town for a visit, Brad (Damon Wayans Jr.) is surprised to learn that Ryan is a woman. The gang is in awe, but when Chase suddenly disappears, they start snooping into his private life.

The New Normal (NBC, 9:30 p.m.) – “Stay-At-Home Dad” – After a failed attempt at finding a nanny, Bryan (Andrew Rannells) and David (Justin Bartha) contemplate the idea of a stay-at-home dad. Both express interest in the role and decide to practice parenting by sending Goldie (Georgia King) to a spa and taking in Shania (Bebe Wood). Bryan, convinced that he is the man for the job, gives Rocky (NeNe Leakes) a shot at her dream career by leaving her in charge at Sing, but he soon finds that producing a child's life is much more difficult than producing a television show. Later, David confidently takes over and quickly realizes that despite his best intentions parenting is not an exact science.

Parenthood (NBC, 10 p.m.) – “One Step Forward, Two Steps Back” – Victor’s (Xolo Mariduena) adoption deadline draws near, Julia (Erika Christensen) and Joel (Sam Jaeger) contemplate the long term effects of this decision. Nelson) and Amber (Mae Whitman), Ryan (Matt Lauria) seeks to make amends with Joel. Meanwhile, Mark (Jason Ritter) and Sarah (Lauren Graham) discuss their relationship, concerning Hank (Ray Romano). Kristina (Monica Potter) supports Max (Max Burkholder) with a unique campaign.
