Jamie Lynn Spears announced on Saturday night that she is engaged to long-time boyfriend Jamie Watson. Spears, 21, and the 30-year old businessman have been dating on and off for more than three years and recently began discussing marriage.
Spears shared a photo of herself with Watson via Instagram late Saturday night. In the photo, she shows off a gorgeous round-cut diamond engagement ring with pavé diamonds on the band.
Often overshadowed by older sister Britney, Spears has built an acting career in her own right, most notably as the title character on Nickelodeon's "Zoey 101" for four seasons. Currently, Spears is working to launch a country music career in Nashville.
This will be the first marriage for both Spears and Watson, though Spears was previously engaged to Casey Aldridge, with whom she shares 4-year old daughter Maddie.
