James Van Der Beek announced the sad news via Twitter that his new show "Don't trust The B in Apartment 23" has been cancelled according to Wednesday, Jan. 23 reports at Perez Hilton.
ABC decided to pull the comedy with eight episodes remaining in the second season.
James Van Der Beek, one of the sitcom's stars, tweeted: "Sad to say ABC has pulled #Apt23 and will not be airing the 8 remaining episodes any time soon. Translation: we’ve basically been canceled."
Van Der Beek, 35, is best known for his long running role as Dawson Leery in The WB series "Dawson's Creek." The show's 1998 debut was a success that helped to establish the network and its cast, which included Katie Holmes, Michelle Williams, and Joshua Jackson. The series, shot in Wilmington, North Carolina, ran for six seasons and was syndicated worldwide.
