James Taylor messed up last night on the National Anthem, but lucky for him he figured it out pretty fast. On Oct. 25, Fox News reported that he got confused during game 2 of the World Series. James was out there just him and his guitar when he started to sing. Instead of "The Star Spangled Banner" he started to sing "America The Beautiful."
James handled it all very well though. He made a small mistake and did one line of the wrong song. As soon as he realized it, he went right into the right song and didn't miss a beat at all. Everyone makes mistakes and this one can just be laughed off. Several people have done a terrible job on the song or got the words wrong and at least once he got on the right song he nailed it and got everything right.
During the 7th inning of the game, he was scheduled to perform "America the Beautiful." That is probably where James Taylor got a little bit confused. Fans were just happy he fixed it soon and then they got to see the game they were waiting for in the World Series.
