According to this email from James Taylor's official website, it was revealed Wednesday there will be four unreleased bonus tracks on the reissue of his album from the Beatles' Apple label, which, along with the other Apple reissues, is due out on Oct. 26.
The bonus tracks they listed are:
- a studio demo for "Sunny Skies," later re-recorded for the "Sweet Baby James" album
- a studio demo for "Let Me Ride," later re-recorded for "Mud Slide Slim and the Blue Horizon"
- "Sunshine Sunshine," a solo acoustic demo of a song from "James Taylor";
- a solo acoustic demo of "Carolina in My Mind" from "James Taylor."
The email also said the "official" announcement for all 15 of the reissues, including albums by Badfinger, Billy Preston, Doris Troy, Jackie Lomax, the Modern Jazz Quartet and John Tavener, will be made Thursday.
