James Redfield, Celestine Prophecy at Third Place Books

Last night, March 9th, a crowd gathered at Third Place Books in Lake Forest Park to hear James Redfield, author of Celestine Prophecy talk about his latest book The Twelfth Insight.

James talked about the importance of telling the truth. Not telling the truth with the intention of hurting the other person, but in the spirit of helpful synchronistic dialogue where everyone’s vibration is raised to a higher level. He told many stories about his own learning of everyday intuitive impulses, like when he had a vision so strong to pull over at a pet store. He believes in getting rescue dogs and everything in his mind was telling him not to take the time to stop at the store. When he listened to his intuition and went in, the perfect dog was waiting for him and he knew it immediately.

James confessed he used to think that intuition and synchronicity were esoteric events, but now he knows that even the simple hunches are critical to act on. Everyone you meet has a message for you.

It was a very inspiring night. I asked him if he planned to make another movie after the original Celestine Prophecy. Anything’s possible. It didn’t sound like it’d be anytime soon though. He encouraged people to sign up for the global prayer project at www.celestinevision.com. I highly recommend it. They look at areas of the world that could use healing energy and through a teleseminar a circle of people around the world send light. Being an animal lover, I asked him if he could include farm animals too. He agreed they could use some prayers.
