In an interview on Eagle Forum Live with Anne Cori, Phyllis Schlafly's niece, Breitbart.com's James O'Keefe claimed that he is "feared and hated and attacked in a very nasty way" by liberals who "don't play nice" and want to "destroy" him "using the government."
As a reminder, O'Keefe's specialty is making secret video recordings and then dishonestly editing them to make groups he doesn't like appear more sinister than they actually are.
O'Keefe first attained infamy as the pimp in Breitbart.com's heavily edited "expose" of ACORN. O'Keefe also tried to antagonize the Occupy Wall Street movement by dressing up in a businessman costume and telling the protestors he worked on Wall Street, and later recorded himself willfully attempting to commit voter fraud in New Hampshire.
This makes someone like O'Keefe crying about liberals who "don't play nice" kind of like the bratty kid who pushes a little girl down into the mud, then runs crying to an adult after she slugs him for it.
O'Keefe also lamented that his fellow conservatives are too afraid to be effective. "They don't like blood in the water. I mean that in a figurative sense. They don't like shaking things up. They’re afraid to be effective because to be effective is to be hated."
O'Keefe also complained that "These people don't play nice, they don't debate you," apparently in the shallow hopes that none of Cori's listeners would remember that O'Keefe doesn't play nice or debate his opponents either.
Finally, when asked if he had any advice for struggling activists, O'Keefe responded: "To speak frankly: Get some balls."
