James Library's 'Valentine's Dessert Tasting' offers chocolate and more Feb 15 (Video)

Some people equate Valentine’s Day with flowers, couples, and commercialism. Others sum it up into one simple word – chocolate!

Celebrate Valentine's Day a little longer! Indulge in chocolate and other delectable treats to support the James Library and Center for the Arts, 24 West Street in Norwell, Massachusetts, with “Valentine’s Dessert Tasting” on Friday, February 15 at 8 p.m. Bring friends and enjoy three floors of desserts made by an array of local chocolatiers, listen to live jazz music, feast your eyes on the ornate Victorian surroundings of the James Library as well as inspiring local love themed artwork for sale created by South Shore artist ensemble, “Girls Just Wanna Paint.” Plus enter a contest for a chance to win a lovely evening at the Colonnade Hotel in Boston!

Tazo organic chocolate, fruit tarts, and signature cupcakes are just some of the selections offered by Ob La Da Baking in Marshfield, Kate’s Table in Hingham, Sadie Mae’s Cupcake Cafe in Hingham, Baked of North Scituate, We’re Not Nuts in Hanover, and Front Street Gourmet in Scituate.
