James Gunn tweets birthday wishes to Seth Green's wife Clare Grant

According to "Guardians of the Galaxy" and "Slither" director's Twitter page on Saturday, James Gunn announced the birthday of actress Clare Grant and posted an Instagram and Facebook group photo shot of Gunn, "Serenity's" Nathan Fillion, Mikaela Hoover, and "Chuck's" Zachary Levi. Ironically enough, Hoover touted in a reply as to why she is the only one wearing a bathing suit at a pool party.

For those who aren't familiar with this cast of faces, Hoover appeared as the pretty Nova Corp personal assistant typing viciously on the tablet-like device. She stood aside Nova Prime as she took notes in a stenographic fashion during the events that occured prior and up until Ronan's arrival on Xandar to destroy it with one of Thanos' Infinity Stones.

Fillion, well known for his roles in the TV show "Firefly", the follow up movie, "Serenity", and a more current TV show "Castle" wasn't entirely too recognizable in the Gunn film too easily, as he played the massively sized alien that approached Star-Lord, as played by "Parks and Recreation's" Chris Pratt, in a threatening fashion. That encounter was quickly ended as Groot shoved both his tentacle-like branches up his nose.

Grant, who is wife to "Family Guy" and geek Seth Green, is known for her up and coming role on Adult Swim's "Team Unicorn Saturday Action Fun Hour!" She's also well known among the geek community for her satirical appearance in the "Geek and Gamer Girls" song parody of Katy Perry's "California Gurls" song. "Battlestar Galactica's" Katee Sackhoff and Marvel's Stan Lee made cameo appearance in the aforementioned YouTube video.
