James Franco and Seth Rogen are at it again

Kim Kardashian and Kayne West’s recent coveted cover on Vogue magazine sure has tongues wagging and spoofing spiraling. Let’s start with tongues wagging first. Sarah Michelle Gellar is so put off by the cover until she has declared cancelling her subscription to the trendy fashion magazine. While many may or may not agree with Gellar’s stance, Vogue’s editor-in-chief Anna Wintour defends the cover choice decision stating that “it was entirely Vogue’s idea and West (contrary to belief) did not beg for the honor.”

Next up, is the spoofing. And who can parody West-Kardashian better than James Franco and Seth Rogen? The ‘Pineapple Express’ co-stars are quickly becoming the Dean Martin/Jerry Lewis comedy match-up of our day but with, you know, an updated twist. First they film their own version of West’s music video “Bound 2” and now they’ve gone and superimposed their heads (only) over Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s head on the Vogue cover. Notice the complexion of Franco’s hands and Rogen’s slender feminine shoulders.

And the mocking does not stop there. Even Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy jump the broom and into the band wagon. Actually, this is probably as close as she’ll ever get Kermit to an altar.

On Friday, Rogen tweeted, “It had to be done.”

Yes, for these two, it had to be done.
