James Fortune's 'Identity' is #1, Joyful Noise #2 on Gospel Albums chart

James Fortune takes the #1 top spot with the debut of Identity.  The singer also landed the #1 spot on three Billboard charts this week: Gospel, Gospel & Christian (combined), and Independent Albums. The album also earned its way to the Top 10 position on the Billboard Top 200 Chart at #7. 

The Joyful Noise soundtrack moves to #2 in its second week. LeAndria Johnson (The Awakening of LeAndria Johnson) is #3, William McDowell (Arise) #4 and Kirk Franklin takes the #5 spot with Hello Fear.

Earnest Pugh’s “I Need Your Glory” crossed over to the urban adult contemporary radio charts. The song is #23 on the Mediabase Urban AC chart and #30 on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart.
