James Caan and the Cullen brothers are teaming up for a new comedy series. Caan has been cast to star in the series developed by the “Las Vegas” producers, Mar and Robb Cullen.
Terry Gannon plays a recently divorced single mom who has to move in with her estranged father to make ends meet. Her former baseball-playing father drinks far too much and is the stereotypical slob.
In her new life, Gannon decides to coach her son’s little league baseball team, although she is reluctant to take on the job. She left sports behind years earlier.
Caan takes on the role of Terry Sr. in the series.
The Cullen brothers are writing the comedy series. Aaron Kaplan will be the executive producer. The series will air on ABC and is distributed by 20th Century Fox.
“Magic City” will be a new journey for Caan as well. The actor will take on a recurring role as a Chicago mob boss.
