On Sept. 24, 2013, James Bond lookalike Dennis Keogh shared about his upcoming appearance at a black-tie James Bond themed event for GUARDaHEART in recognition of The World Heart Federation's World Heart Day.
Keogh resides in Arizona, and he will be appearing, in celebrity style, at the GUARDaHEART event on Saturday, Sept. 28.
"As 'James Bond' I will be actively involved in this event for the heart foundation. It will be held in Newport Beach, Calif."
Celebs scheduled to attend the event will be actors Eric Roberts, Jamie Kennedy and Kevin Sorbo (Hercules). Keogh said that he has previously met or worked with Kennedy and Sorbo.
"I worked with Jamie Kennedy doing a video for Activision with comic book writer, editor, publisher, and more, Stan Lee and rock singer songwriter Ozzy Osbourne about five years ago. I met Sorbo at a Dixon Golf Promo at Gainey Ranch Golf Club in Scottsdale."
Listening to this Sean Connery and James Bond lookalike, Examiner.com discovered that being a celeb impersonator is fun and sometimes very interesting. Running into celebrities along the way is a nice perk too!
In lieu of all that, though, Dennis Keogh wants readers to know how important it is to learn about this life threatening disease. It is the leading cause of death for both males and females in the United States.
"This event targets heart disease and makes us aware of the causes of it. It would make me happy if readers came to know heart disease facts, thus helping them to detect and prevent heart disease!"
Keogh is not the only one who thinks heart disease prevention is important.
According to GUARDaHEART, a few of the actions that can be taken to reduce the risk of heart disease are:
- Learn
- Detect
- Prevent
"At the event, the mission of World Heart Day will be presented by His Highness, Sheik Khalid Bin Jabor Al Thani in partnership with corporate sponsor Aviir, Inc.
Attendees will enjoy live entertainment, shaken, not stirred cocktails, delectable cuisine, and a silent auction. Proceeds from the event go to providing education, detection and prevention resources for the global community including members of the military, first responders, and low-income families." - GUARDaHEART
Thank you Dennis Keogh for sharing about this upcoming event and the importance of knowing more about heart disease.
