It has been a crazy week in the world of Action Figures as the biggest toy show of the year, New York International Toy Fair, just wrapped up a week long show debuting the latest and greatest toys, collectible and action figures coming our way in 2013.
One of the cooler items coming out later this year is a 31-inch Darth Vader action figure from Jakks Pacific. It was announced first on USAToday.com but with only a stock image for reference, I had to sneak over to the Jakks booth and see if I could get a glimpse of him in person.
He looks fantastic in person and according to Jakks is the largest articulated toy thus far of Darth Vader. He sports seven points of articulation, detailed features on the helmet and armor, and of course his red lightsaber.
A clone trooper is also coming in this line (and we assume many others if these sell well) but no pictuires of him were allowed. The MSRP is set to be about $50 but wasn't 100% confirmed as these have not yet been finalized.
