RCA recording artist Jake Owen warms up country radio with his latest single “Beachin.” The song, penned by Jon Mark Nite, Jaren Johnston, and Jimmy Robbins, was added to 67 radio stations during its first week of release. Mason Dixon directed a music video for the feel-good jam that hit CMT last week.
After spending much of 2013 opening for Jason Aldean on his “Night Train” tour, Jake Owen will embark on his own headlining tour. The trek launches this spring and will conclude in October, visiting cities all across the country. Country hit makers Eli Young Band, Parmalee, The Cadillac Three, and Thomas Rhett will serve as opening acts on select dates.
“Beachin” is the second single from Jake Owen’s “Days of Gold” record. In an interview with Examiner, Jake expressed his excitement for the album.
“The most important thing for me is that the songs have to be great. In order to have a big career, you have to have career-like songs. They can’t be just mundane or boring songs. I’ve learned that over the years and I’ve spent a lot of time putting together a great album. I’m excited for everyone to hear the new music,” Jake stated.
