Jake Owen announces 2014 Days of Gold tour

Jake Owen is bringing the summer heat and ice cold beer out on the road for his just announced 2014 Days of Gold Tour. After a blockbuster year of chart-topping hits -- he scored his fourth consecutive No. 1 with "Anywhere With You" -- and attracting over 20,000 fans to his Nashville summer party, his new album, appropriately titled "Days of Gold" is setting in motion an even bigger year.

Owen will launch his second headlining tour on March 20 in Brookings, South Dakota and will run through October, wrapping in his hometown of Vero Beach, Fla. Crossing the country, he will hit 55 cities with the help of feature openers Eli Young Band, Parmalee and Thomas Rhett all on select dates. The Cadillac Three, newly signed to Big Machine Label Group, will also be on tap to perform.

“I love throwing parties! This tour is going to be one big party and everyone is invited,” Owen says in an official statement. “I’ve been lucky enough to be on the road and learn from incredible artists like Chesney, McGraw, and Aldean. I’m really proud of this tour and can’t wait for the fans to see what’s in store. The first night can not get here fast enough!”

Ahead of the tour, Owen plans on sending "Beackin'" out to radio as the album's second single. This follows on the heels of the hit "Days of Gold."
