According to a report from ESPN, the quarterback has an injured hip but initial x-rays have come back negative. This could at least mean that there is not a fracture, break, or tear that would require long-term surgery recovery.
He went down in the third quarter after a hit by New York Jets defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson. There has been some controversy about the hit, including whether it was late. No penalty was issued on the play, but that doesn't necessarily mean that the NFL won't come in later with a fine. Due to the Titans losing their starting quarterback, the league is definitely going to be reviewing the tape.
