The film’s plot centers around a professor that realizes he has a twin while watching a movie. Not surprisingly, he decides to hunt down his twin and figure out what is happening. The trailer culminates in a scene where the professor is confronting his twin, and Jake Gyllenhaal’s fans will be treated to seeing two of him on the screen at the same time.

The director of the film, Denis Villeneuve revealed that Jake played both roles, and that he used a body double for certain scenes. Playing two characters on the same set is a remarkably difficult challenge for an actor, and not surprisingly, this was something that presented a challenge for Jake.
