Actress Jaime Pressly of "Jennifer Falls" decided to have a mastectomy and she is now speaking out about it. On Thursday, ABC News shared what she had to say about it all. After she had her son in 2012, she actually had mastitis.

Jaime was on "The Talk" when she shared about it. She said, "I had something that happened to me years ago, I didn't know. I have a high threshold for pain, I was a dancer for 25 years. When I had my son, I got mastitis but I didn't know, cause I thought it was just regular breast feeding pain." It ended up being a lot worse than she realized and surgery was the only option for Jaime.

Sometimes this can just be fixed with antibiotics, but it ended up being a lot more for her. Jaime actually ended up having to get a mastectomy instead of just taking pills and it going away. She does have a little bit of breast tissue left, but overall it is pretty much gone.

She did speak out a bit more about it. Jaime said, "I still have some breast tissue left, just from the mastitis because it mutated into something else because it sat dormant for a while. But it was the craziest thing. Thank God it wasn't [cancer]." When you hear that someone had a mastectomy, you always assume that it was breast cancer but this time it was not what was going on.

Jaime's new show "Jennifer Falls" is doing great and it airs new episodes on Wednesday on TV Land. It is a 30 minute sitcom and is doing great. Hopefully this show will end up being renewed for a second season. If you haven't checked this show out yet, it is worth watching and you can find repeats on as well.
