Fashion stood in the way of a good time for actresses Jaime Pressly and Estella Warren, according to an April 7 Us Weekly report. Pressly and Warren reportedly got into a heated dispute over what appears to be a coveted fashion accessory – a purse - at celebrity party spot Bootsy Bellows.
A source told Us Weekly that a birthday party celebration turned ugly when Pressly and her assistant discovered the assistant’s purse had disappeared from the original location of the birthday party – a private home in Los Angeles. After tracking the purse to Bootsy Bellows, Warren insisted that the purse belonged to her even though it contained Pressly’s assistant’s things. The source described Pressly’s attempts to retrieve the purse from Warren as “forceful,” but not “aggressive.”
It was enough drama to get the police involved. According to eyewitness accounts, the purse contained drugs, which Pressly and her assistant claimed did not belong to them, and they even volunteered for a drug test. “It was this crazy mess,” said the eyewitness.
Both Warren and Pressly were reportedly detained until 5 a.m, and readers can view the PopCandiesTV video of Warren leaving the club after police showed up on the scene of the fight. The West Hollywood Sheriff's Department confirms that they responded to two calls at Bootsy Bellows on April 5.
While both parties remain mum on the details of the fight, Warren tweeted what could be interpreted as her thoughts on the event. She wrote, “No mind, no thought, no reflection, no analysis, no cultivation, no intention... let it settle itself.”
