According to ABC 7 News, the McMath family now faces a 5 p.m. deadline in their struggle to keep her hooked on to a ventilator.

Jahi McMath has already been pronounced brain dead and the family was told she was dead on December 12. She died from complications from a routine tonsil surgery.

She had been allowed to stay on a ventilator by a San Francisco court but that court order runs out today at 5pm.

Six doctors at Children's Hospital have all seen Jahi and agree that she is brain-dead.
ABC 7 Locals says:

"Officials at Children's Hospital say they will turn off Jahi's ventilator unless a judge issues a new order. The family has not contacted the hospital today and no court hearings are scheduled."
