San Francisco resident, Katie Adler, says: "It's heartbreaking for the family I know but sometimes we just have to let go. I feel so bad for them, however."
One facility that had offered to take her has now changed their mind, even though the parents of Jahi managed to raise over $22,000 to help get her to another hospital.
According to the family, one place in New York may take her instead.
A spokesperson at Children's Hospital has announced, however, that they have not been contacted by anyone.
ABC 7 Local reports:
"The press, the public, the hospital are all waiting to see what effort the family makes if any given the time in the history of this tragic case," said Children's Hospital Oakland spokesperson Sam Singer.
Yesterday, a prayer vigil was held for the teenager but Jahi's family did not make any comments about any new developments.
