Week 2 of the NFL preseason kicks-off tonight with the Jaguars vs Bears live stream and TV coverage thanks to ESPN. Both of these teams come into the 2014 campaign with visions of a lot better season this year than in 2013.
According to Bleacher Report on Aug. 14 both of these teams head into Week 2 with 1-0 records, but still have a lot of work to do before the Sept. 7 opener. The Bears looked like a scoring machine in Week 1 as they outscored the Eagles by the final score of 34-28, while the Jags took out Tampa Bay 16-10.
Jags fans were excited to see quarterback Blake Bortles hit the field last week and the hometown hero didn't disappoint. The No. 3 overall pick finished 7 for 11, and threw for 117-yards against Tampa Bay last week. What was more impressive is Bortles looked like an NFL QB. Sure it is only the preseason, but things may get interesting in J-Ville when it comes to the QB situation in 2014.
The Bears are hoping the addition of defensive end Jared Allen can spark some life in a defense that was not very good in 2013. Chicago finished 28th overall in rushing defense last season, and that is not very "bear like"" when it comes to past Monster of the Midway teams.
Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery give Chicago a great one-two punch on offense, but make no mistake, this team needs a productive Jay Cutler if they are going to contend for a postseason spot this December.
The Bears come into tonight's contest as a 3 point favorite with the over/under number set at 42.
Fans can catch all the action for tonight's game on ESPN nationally and streaming live via Watch ESPN and ESPN Deportes. The game will kick-off shortly after 8 p.m. ET.
