On March 11 Big Cat Country reports that the Jacksonville Jaguars have traded Blaine Gabbert to the San Francisco 49ers for a pretty sweet deal.

The deal was for a sixth-round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft as well as a conditional pick in the 2015 Draft. This doesn't come as much of a surprise to most as Gabbert was one of the 10 worst quarterback picks of NFL history. He is leaving the Jaguars with a 5-22 record and just over 4,300 yards in 28 games.

Gabbert struggled with dealing with pressure in the pocket as well as dealing with injuries that have left him out of several games at a time. For the Jaguars, this means that the team will likely be looking at new quarterbacks in the NFL Draft pick since the only ones signed to the team currently are Chad Henne, Matt Scott, and Ricky Stanzi.

Many think that getting anything for Gabbert was a bit of a miracle since he hasn't played well in the two seasons that he's been signed to the Jaguars.

Are you surprised to see that the San Francisco 49ers picked up Blaine Gabbert, and at the price they paid for him?
