Jadeveon Clowney with the hit of the year, already

It was only the undisputed hit of the year, on January 1st.

South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney came unblocked in the Outback Bowl against the Michigan Wolverines and absolutely rocked running back Vincent Smith. The collision sent the maize and blue helmet flying through the air. The football came loose only to be snatched up by Clowney with a single big hand.

It was an unfair and diabolical clash.

The supreme sophomore isn’t eligible for the NFL draft (you need to be three years removed from high school to enter the league) and will have to play one more year with the Gamecocks.
