According to a Feb. 27 Instagram post from Jade Bryce, the charismatic Bellator ring girl is gearing up for the promotion's upcoming season, which kicks off Feb. 28 at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Conn.
Bellator's first event of the new season features a main event that pits MMA legend Quinton "Rampage" Jackson against Christian M'Pumbu, and Bryce will be serving alongside Mercedes Terrell as an official ring girl at the show.
Bryce is still the same quirky, travel-sized model that fight fans have grown to adore over the years, but much has changed in her life since Bellator's last season.
The Austin, Texas native is heading into Bellator's Season 10 with a new healthier diet and a gorgeous mystery man by her side.
Long Island MMA Examiner Eric Holden caught up to Bryce following the Bellator 110 weigh-ins on Feb. 27 in Uncasville, Conn., and she spoke at length about her new relationship.
She did not reveal the name of the man she's dating, but she says he's not an MMA fighter.
Bryce said her new boyfriend is a big-time MMA fan. However, he doesn't compete inside the cage and Bryce says he's not someone the average MMA fan would know.
I don't know what to say. I feel so lucky to be called his girlfriend and I'm so glad that I waited for the right person instead of settling because of losing hope from thinking that person would never come. I hope, like I do with other stories in my life.. I can use this one to inspire people that you can find a love that has no worries and zero reservations. A lot of people are afraid of being alone, but without being single the past two years, I wouldn't have been able to become the girlfriend he deserves. I learned so much about myself and I'm even glad I dated guys prior to that that were so horrible to me, because had I not dated them, I wouldn't know what an amazing man I have. I know that there's no one better for me out there. That's a very freeing feeling, and I want everyone to hold out for that! And in the meantime, to lean into being single and learn how to have an amazing relationship with yourself first. You can have it all.
Luckily, there are plenty of meatless options out there for pizza lovers such as Bryce.
As far as vegan and gluten-free, I live in Los Angeles. Hah.. There are three places in my neighborhood alone that deliver to my house that are vegan and gluten-free. I love daiya cheese and being gluten free has helped my energy levels, my moods and my body. There is so much pressure to be fit year round and it's of course something I strive for, and being gluten free has helped! I love pizza and still eat it twice a week no problem!! It's just as yummy!! Lucifers is amazing!
MMA fans can check out Bryce strutting her stuff live on Spike TV on Feb. 28 at 8 p.m., when Bellator returns with its new exciting season of fights.
For fans attending the Feb. 28 Bellator event at Mohegan Sun, feel free to bring Bryce a slice. Just make sure it's gluten-free.
