Jadarius Garner was found dead on the side of a Mississippi highway earlier this week, following a two-car accident. His lifeless body was discovered on Thurs., Jan. 2, 2014 at 2:27 a.m. He had been struck by two cars. The drivers of those vehicles were not injured in the incident.
The 20-year-old Troy football player was pronounced dead at the scene, U.S. Highway 61 in Bolivar County, after authorities responded to what they believed to be a two-vehicle accident on the highway, reported Huffington Post. Authorities continue to investigate Garner's cause of death.
Jadarius Garner was remembered fondly by Troy coach Larry Blakeney: "Jadarius was a well-respected member of our football team and his loss will be felt by all of us."
