Jada Pinkett-Smith is fine with Will Smith doing what he wants and vice-versa

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith's open marriage after 17 years together is the topic of her latest interview. Jada said that she's always told Will to do what you want, as long as you can look yourself in the mirror and be OK with the guy looking back at you. He's his own man and vice versa, conveyed the 41-year-old actress as described in Yahoo OMG on April 4, 2013. This doesn't mean their marriage has room in it for other partners occasionally.

She also said that Will is his own man and who he is going to be is not up to Jada. She does say that “he is my best friend,” so that's a strong foundation to work off of. The couple weathered the rumors of the two heading for a divorce in 2011 complete with the tales of Jada having an affair with Marc Anthony while he was still married to Jennifer Lopez. These were just rumors.

It seems that even if you're married for close to two decades in Hollywood, you're still fair game for rumors of a marriage in trouble, but according to Jada, she and Will have a relationship that's solid and it got that way because they each remained their own person while sharing a life together, a life that is very much intact as a couple. Their "open marriage" is open in communication and that's a good thing.
