There is a different vibe to “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” this season. Without series regulars Jacqueline Laurita and Caroline Manzo, fans of the show has had to get use to newcomers Amber Marchese, Nicole Napolitano, Teresa Aprea and has had to get reacquainted with Dina Manzo, the sister of Caroline and sister-in-law of Jacqueline. The Bravo reality series has had just as much drama, but the newcomers have yet to appeal to fans like Caroline and Jacqueline.
According to E! News Friday, the show will be bringing back Jacqueline later in the season. Fans of Laurita will get to see her in Caroline’s upcoming spinoff, “Manzo’d With Children,” but in the meantime she will bring back some familiarity to “RHONJ.” Before fans get too excited, Jacqueline’s scenes won’t involve any drama and she will not confront Dina, who she has a pretty cold relationship with.
E! News learned from a source that she will have most of her scenes with Kathy Wakile. “Yes, it’s true, Jacqueline will be making a return towards the end of the season. Because she still has a close relationship with Kathy [Wakile], her scenes will mostly be with Kathy. She is not coming back to stir the pot or confront her sister-in-law Dina. People assume that’s what she’s coming back to do, but she’s not. Her appearance is relatively drama-free.”
It is also unclear as to if she has any scenes with her former best friend, Teresa Guidice. She was re-hired by the show to charge things up, but she may not have anything to add as far as conflict goes. Dina may not welcome her return and is reportedly unhappy about the re-hire. Laurita was initially let go from the reality show because she was dealing with family issues and producers felt she lost a bit of her edge and was no longer adding any drama to the show. Bravo has not commented on Jacqueline’s return.
