Jacqueline Bisset wins at the Globes for Best Supporting Actress in a TV series

The English actress Jacqueline Bisset won the second award, the Best Supporting Actress in a TV series, mini-series, or TV movie at the 71st Annual Golden Globes. She won for her performance in "Dancing on the Edge." The TV mini-series was a BBC drama about a black jazz band in London in the early 1930s.

The series first aired on BBC Two then on Starz. "Dancing on the Edge," was created by Stephen Poliakoff.

The 69 year old "Bullitt" actress had been up against Janet McTeer, Hayden Panettiere, Monica Potter, and Sofia Vergara.
