On Jan. 12, Jacqueline Bisset was bundled up in chilly Tinseltown as she hit the red carpet for the BAFTA Los Angeles 2013 Awards Season Tea Party held at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles located adjacent to Beverly Hills' boundaries.
The 68-year-old English actress, who managed to show off tights-clad legs that looked like they belonged to a 20-year-old, was covered from head to toe as The City of Angels experienced cool temperatures that hovered around 45 degrees.
Meanwhile, her contemporaries weren't nearly as equipped to shield themselves from the cold. In fact, luminaries like Bérénice Marlohe and Freida Pinto arrived at the event wearing frocks that seemed a bit more appropriate for the summer than they did for the winter even when the winter is in Los Angeles where the temperatures are usually temperate.
Not so Jacqueline Bisset, who was not dressed down when she dressed up to be warm, and therefore practical, for this particular occasion. In fact, the celebrated thespian who was awarded the Légion d'honneur in 2010 was very chic on Saturday when she appeared in all black on the BAFTA awards season red carpet.
To be sure, that's not all that surprising. After all, Bisset is a person who Newsweek once dubbed "the most beautiful actress of all time."
And so, although Jacqueline Bisset dressed smart for the BAFTA 2013 tea party in chilly Los Angeles, she also dressed to show off her ample assets on a body that seems to have consumed a certain amount of youth serum somewhere in her 68-year lifetime.
