Baltimore Ravens athlete Jacoby Jones has had a whirlwind week, following a major Super Bowl game and win. Speaking out Thursday night, Jones admitted that the excitement surrounding the game led him to burst a blood vessel in his eye.
"I'm not being Hollywood and all up tight. It was excitement. I bust a blood vessel in my eyes. Bloodshot red. Excitement. Look at my face," Jones shared, explaining why he was wearing sunglasses, with "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Thursday.
Even though he ran 108 yards on the field during the Super Bowl and scored two touchdowns, Jones says Joe Flacco is deserving of being named MVP (Most Valuable Player).
"The one thing I say Jimmy, is Joe Flacco deserves it. What that guy went through and did, if you look at the post season, eleven touch downs, no interceptions... sweet!" said Jones.
While the Baltimore Ravens took the Super Bowl with a score of 34-31, a power outage sidelined both teams for over twenty minutes. According to Jacoby Jones, the loss of power kind of worked out because he was tired.
"I didn't care. I was tired," he jokes in video to the left. "I was on the sideline throwing up. Lights went out. I was like yes!"
"Jimmy Kimmel Live" airs weekday nights on ABC.
