Jaclyn Smith is 68 years old, but she does not look it. The actress made several appearances this past week at events honoring the memory of her friend Farrah Fawcett. It has been five years since she died after losing her battle with cancer. The two women starred on the 1970s series "Charlie's Angels" together. The Spread It shared photos of the actress at one of the events on June 27.
Smith may be an actress, but that is not her main career. Since the end of "Charlie's Angels" in 1981, the actress has appeared in a number of television movies and television series. Most of the appearances on television shows have been guest starring appearances, but she did appear in several episodes of "The District" between 2002 and 2004.
The actress does not use her time in front of the screen as her main source of income. For the past 30 years, the actress has made her money with her Jaclyn Smith Collection. She began her line at Kmart stores selling clothes, shoes, bags, wigs and jewelry, but the actresses collection now includes home type items such as fabrics, tabletop, stemware, towels, sheets. Her line has also extended to skin care products in recent years.
Jaclyn's looks are definitely having people take a second look at the actress. At the age of 68, it is likely the actress has gone under the knife and had some plastic surgery done, but she still looks amazingly well for her age. It isn't just her face, but it is her body too. Her slender figure is not the work of plastic surgery.
Smith has honored her friend Farrah Fawcett and her memory at more than just the events this past week. She spoke out at a court hearing in December 2013. Ryan O'Neal was trying to get back a painting of Fawcett that was promised to him. The actress said the following about Fawcett and the painting during the proceedings, according to Daily Mail:
"I think the most important thing would be imagining what Farrah would want. I really feel Farrah would want that portrait with Ryan. It’s her soul, it’s her eyes, it’s her hair, it’s everything she is. I always describe Farrah as this 8-by-10 glossy, you know, the combination of this beautiful girl and the girl next door and that portrait captures that."
O'Neal won the court proceeding, and he was allowed to keep the portrait. He has it hung over his bed. Smith remained close with Fawcett after her time on "Charlie's Angels." The actress only appeared on one season of the series, but Smith appeared on all four seasons of the show.
Smith currently lives in Los Angeles. She married Dr. Brad Allen in 1997, and he ran for office in California’s 24th Congressional District earlier this month. He lost the race, but the pediatric surgeon plans to run for office again. It definitely seems like this actress has managed to find the secret to looking well.
