Jacksonville Symphony Orchestras “Holiday Pops Concert” will be performing in St. Augustine FL at the Flagler College Auditorium and will be featuring a soloist from Jacksonville Florida. Come out and enjoy the songs of the season with the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra and guest vocalist; mezzo-soprano, Millicent (Penny) Sylvester.
Millicent has appeared in many local shows and this writer first made her acquaintance at Faith Christian Center and during a performance of “Cinderella” at the Alhambra Theater & Dining both in Jacksonville, FL.
Once again the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra will regale their patrons with the ever popular Holiday Pops Concerts, a presentation that has become a St. Augustine tradition. The festive concerts will be conducted by Matthew Kraemer, Associate Conductor of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra. Highly in demand as a guest conductor with orchestras all over the country, he returns once again this year to St. Augustine with the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra.
Due to the popularity of the Holiday Pops Concert, EMMA (Emil Maestre Music Association) will be offering two evening performances to celebrate the season with popular holiday melodies that are loved by all. Tickets are going quickly, so give them a call today and mention that you saw it here on Examiner.com .
