2010 Jacksonville Jaguars draft class Many NFL Draft pundits that once again the Oakland Raiders would turn the draft on its ear. This year that honor fell to the Jacksonville Jaguars with the tenth overall pick. |

Draft Day decision makers: Jacksonville Jaguars Brian Xanders is the General Manager, but head coach Josh McDaniels has a lot of say in personnel matters. The also rely on Matt Russell their director of College scouting. This will be this bran trust's second NFL draft, and to be fair there is a lot of room for improvement. |

2009 NFL Draft one year later: Jacksonville Jaguars This is how NFL team are supposed to draft. The 2009 Jaguars draft class is a shiny example of how teams should conduct the draft. Their first four picks became regular starters, and six of the nine players they selected played at least 14 games. That is a very good draft, and one year later it looks even better. This is how a front office puts its team into the best situation on the field that it can. |

MTR Football.com's 2010 NFL Mock Draft: Jacksonville Jaguars first round selection Derrick Morgan, DE, Georgia Tech NFL draft day decision makers have to have a short memory. Right now it looks like the Jaguars whiffed badly in 2008 on DE's Derrick Harvey and Quentin Groves, however this team managed only 14 sacks in 2009 and that was by far the lowest total of the 32 NFL teams. That makes upgrading the pass rush the number one priority for the Jaguars, and it seems that Morgan could be the man to do just that. |

What should the Jacksonville Jaguars so with their first round draft pick? Just go right ahead and put drafting Tim Tebow with the 10th overall pick right out of your head. It seems pretty clear that Tebow will end up with the Jaguars, but that is not going to happen till at least the third round. |

Fix the Franchise: Jacksonville Jaguars edition As a one time resident of this fair city, and knowing I am going to have to explain myself to my Aunt who lives there currently I think the fix for the Jaguars is to move to a bigger market. I don’t like relocating teams anymore than anyone else, and as a Jaguars fan from afar I hate to say it, but it really seems like the market for this team is tapped out. That means even if they could build a winning team, the likelihood of making more money is poor. The Jaguars need to expand their brand but with the Falcons and Panthers to the North, Dolphins to the south, Buccaneers to the west, and ocean to the east, it doesn’t seem like they will be able to do that. |

Jaguars needs heading into 2010 The Jacksonville Jaguars needs heading into 2010 can be split into two distinct categories. In the first category are the players they could get to help the product on the field which may help ticket sales. The second category is labeled Tim Tebow and the box office draw he would bring to his home town team. |

2009 NFL season in review: Jacksonville Jaguars It seems the biggest problem for the Jacksonville Jaguars is to find a way to get more people to attend their games in a NFL market that appears all but tapped out. This is a team that could not sell out a game against the undefeated Indianapolis Colts in 2009. That is not good news, on the field though the have an ok QB, but no help around him beyond star running back Maurice Jones-Drew. |

Jaguars O-Lineman unloads on Tim Tebow The Jacksonville Jaguars and owner Wayne Weaver have repeatedly said they will try to draft QB Tim Tebow as a way to help the team sell tickets. However, now that the St. Louis Rams may be sold to local interests we cannot discount the fact that the Jaguars may not be in Florida that much longer. As a business move, drafting Tebow makes a lot of sense, he is from Jacksonville, and he is a very popular figure in the Sunshine State. However, as a legitimate talent Tebow just doesn’t stack up. |

Are the Jacksonville Jaguars headed to Los Angeles? It is not news that the City of Los Angeles is building its very own NFL Stadium; it is also not news that this venture is looking for a NFL team to relocate there. It is also not news that the Jacksonville Jaguars have had a host of attendance problems, mostly due to that area of Florida being devastated by the collapse in the housing market. Jacksonville may also have another problem, there NFL market may be tapped out, and the NFL may see more value in having that franchise in Los Angeles, than in Florida. Not to mention the value that would add to the NFL’s TV package. |

Should the Jaguars draft Tim Tebow? The Jacksonville Jaguars are in a tough position. North Florida has been hit hard by the housing crisis and the team as well as the NFL do not believe that they can sell out one of their eight home games. While the team blames the economy, it seems the fans are tired of the lack of winning. |
