Thursday, January 17. 9:30 p.m. The Non-Essentials with Ed Tucker. Sun-Ray Cinema, 1028 Park Street, Jacksonville. Tucker, a pop culture writer, collector and historian, will introduce the horror classic "Phantasm." The film, which was followed by three sequels, features the iconic Tall Man (Angus Scrimm) and ranks #25 on Bravo's list of Scariest Movie Moments. Click here to watch the trailer.
Saturday, January 19. 11 a.m. The Jacksonville Horror Movie Fans Meetup Group attends "Mama." Tinseltown, 4535 Southside Boulevard, Jacksonville.
Saturday, January 26. 5:00 to 11:00 p.m. 1st Ever Jax Beach Zombie Crawl. Starts at Da Big Kahuna. Experience this traditional pub crawl with a zombie twist. $10 advanced tickets or $15 day of event. Includes free zombie shots, drink specials, t-shirt giveaways, zombie scavenger hunt, winding up at Lynch's for the ultimate zombie costume contest. The schedule follows:
